Lorrie’s canine family
Beyond her professional achievements, Lorrie's personal life is deeply intertwined with her passion for dogs. She and her husband have two beloved dogs.
Benson is a 15 year old hound mix who has been Lorrie’s devoted training partner, and cherished friend his whole life, He has played a pivotal role in helping countless dogs overcome behavioral challenges throughout the years (though now enjoying his hard earned retirement). He has quite the sense of humor and a remarkably expressive communication style. Even at 15, he enjoys his daily trail walks. In his old age wisdom, he has learned walking slower allows you to stop and sniff the flowers more.
Carol is a 5 year old yellow lab mix. She is the greatest of puppy socializers. Patient, kind, calm and occasionally a little sassy. CareBear’s favorite hobbies include napping, hiking, eating all the snacks and falling asleep in public places. She can often be spotted at leash reactivity set ups as a helper dog, teaching Stay & Train puppies good social skills and, on her off hours, snoozing at a local brewery.
No matter the age or issue, help can be had.
