Noise Phobia
Do you have the best version of your best friend until there’s a thunderstorm, fireworks, or the microwave beeps?
When your dog hears noises, is he:
barking excessively
drooling or panting
having a panic attack
hiding
Then it’s time for help.
It’s simpler than you think.
You don’t have to live with alert barking at everyday noises or your dog having a meltdown at every sound. With a few minutes of work a day, you can get your sanity back and your sidekick enjoying life again.
In the Initial Consultation (90 minutes), you will:
Assess the origins and intensity of the fears and behaviors
Come up with a management plan to keep things from escalating.
Start building the framework for creating a positive emotional response to new or frightening noises.
Cover training skills and enrichment activities to build the dog’s confidence
Follow up lessons are usually recommended to ensure that all protocols are being implemented effectively, troubleshoot any issues and transition to the next steps of any prescribed protocol.
